1. The walking distance to the beach was great. 2. Clean room was great. 3. Free parking and overall location within Port Aransas was great.
1. The free breakfast had cold coffee, and fattening items. No pancakes, no potatoes. Not worthy of offering "free breakfast."

I like that the rooms have mini fridges and Microwaves. Pool was great for the kids. Hot tub great for the adults. Breakfast was tasty too. Good options to get the morning started. I also liked the pillows. One soft and one firm.
My husband thought the beds were a little to hard for his taste. I was good though.

The staff here are super friendly, and the location is awesome, just a stone's throw away from the ocean! You can easily walk to the beach, rent a golf cart, and explore the island. The building and rooms are nice, equipped with good amenities. 🏖️

Everything was liked by my two teenage kids and myself.
It would have been nice if the swimming pool could have been open 24hrs.

Clean rooms, amazing pool/jacuzzi area, family friendly, good location
Could've gotten a much better rate booking directly with the property. I paid 40 bucks more than a walk in rate.

Breakfast was great. Buffet but plenty of choices. The pool area was nice with great vegetation. Loved the landscaping there.
Construction was all over. It caused a mess and the impression that we were in the way. Noisy machines, etc. Breakfast was good but there was a lack of healthy choices. More catered to the bacon eating crowd. Also, upon check in, we asked if we could do so early (before 3 PM). We were told flat out "no". They let us drop our bags off but only in an unlocked room that was being used to house construction and paint supplies. Also, staff was reluctant to allow a late check out saying that 12 noon was the absolute limit. When asked about local transportation, they were reluctant and just suggested a cab. No Uber was available. However,as we found out, there is a local Port A shuttle (Trolley) that only costs 25 cents per person. That stop is only a few blocks away. Another shuttle drops/picks up right in front of the hotel (going to Corpus Christi). Should they not know about this a little more? Look, this is a nice hotel with a good location but it is basic. Improvements from construction will add to it but its not the Ritz. Know that going in. Course, the price is about right, too. Not a bargain but its about right. This is a good solid hotel but far from 5 star, which can be good.
